Dr. Forest Lewis
is a Clinical Psychologist; and substance abuse specialist in the
state of New York. Dr. Lewis has been in the field of human services
for more than twenty years. He has worked in area hospitals and also
at various clinics. Although psychology is his first love, Dr. Lewis
has kept his ear to the political ground since his early twenties.
Prior to becoming a Psychologist, Dr. Lewis was an award winning broadcast
journalist. He worked in radio as well as television. Dr. Lewis was
born in Danville, Virginia. He lived at a time during the “Jim Crow
Era.” Therefore, he draws from his experience of living under an apartheid
system to help him elucidate this treatise, which he has titled, “The
Diary Of A Black Man Who Escaped From The Democratic Political Plantation.”
Dr. Lewis believes that the Democratic Party uses many techniques
of Jim Crow to hold Black Americans “Captive”. Dr. Lewis is an ex-Marine;
and Vietnam Veteran. He is currently in private practice in a suburb
of Rochester, New York. In addition to his practice, Dr. Lewis gives
workshops, and is a motivational speaker.
