The “historic” Obama has certainly been that and then some..  That is not to say that being “historic” is always a good thing.  Then again, that depends upon whose definition of a “good” thing we are using..  We are dealing (or trying to deal..) with the liberals here so the “normal” definitions of words like “good” and “historic” have taken on the typically warped definitions that can only occur when they are exposed to the demented politics of the left.  One look through the collectivist kaleidoscope will hypnotize the weak, that combined with one exposure to the socialist soliloquies and you can then add another helpless victim to the repulsive roles of the liberal base..

In his Foxnews interview after his “Restoring Honor” rally, Glenn Beck said in his speech he challenged Americans to “Be your highest self!” Glenn’s words really struck a cord with me. I am repulsed by liberalism because it appeals to our lower self.

To say that climbing on a bus with fifty strangers to join a caravan of hundreds of other buses jostling our way up the yellow-brick road to Oz put this Historian out of his comfort zone would not be an understatement; it would be a gross understatement.  However, having fallen through the rabbit hole in the fifties and taken the red pill in the sixties, the slow motion train wreck that is the Progressive’s deconstruction of traditional America combined with the light speed transformation of our beloved Republic as a European-style nanny-state since the November Revolution of 08 compelled me to go.  Stoked by daily doses of Radio-free Glenn and incited by the daily drip-drip-drip of the government take-overs and serial bail-outs the anticipation has built for months.

But before leaving for his ninth presidential vacation, 10 days at a secluded estate on Martha’s Vineyard, Obama devoted four minutes in the White House driveway to a special statement on the latest disappointing jobs numbers. According to the President, he’s been ‘adamant’ with Congress for months now about a new jobs bill to help small businesses.”

Glenn Beck said that his “Restoring Honor” rally was going to be non-political, but Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., must not have gotten the memo. Speaking from the podium in front of hundreds of thousands of people, she declared that “the procreative foundation of marriage is being threatened,” referring to the advancing homosexual agenda; said that the “womb war” must be ended in favor of life for innocent unborn children; and called for prayer to be brought back to the public square and the schools.

Liberal lush Joe Biden, the man who is allegedly “in charge” of the scamulous, has been on the road trying desperately to tout the progressive panacea that began the liberal’s theft from the middle class as the Demkrats have another election that they are trying to steal.. (Remember, whenever the liberals begin their inevitable class warfare cry of “we will tax the rich” they are going to tax the middle class, period.)  Yes, this is the same scamulous that was going to “jump start” the economy leading to the “Recovery Summer”..  All of the happy talk from the liberals couldn’t overcome their socialist script and there isn’t anything remotely resembling “recovery” on the horizon as long as the demented Demokrats are trying to find “D” and “R” on the driveshaft of the totalitarian Titanic..
