Remember when it was cool to say such idiotic things like, “I voted for the war before I voted against it..” Those were the days.. Back when the liberals had control of BOTH Houses, as they began their progressive plans to dismantle and destroy America, a little known community organizer cast a vote.. A rare vote indeed as this snoozing Senator more often than not cast the intrepid vote “present”..
It was 2006 and Barack Hussein Obama decided to cast a vote AGAINST the raising of the debt ceiling. Mind you, this vote was taking place tens of trillions of Obama dollars ago at a time when a Republican was in the White House and the liberals held the majority in both Houses. Back then, being “acrimonious” was a sign of liberal patriotism. Shall we hearken back to Rodham’s Howard Dean imitation? “I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration..” Things certainly are different now, aren’t they..
The Democratic dance of the demented begins anew as the latest White Louse Press Secretary is dancing as fast as he can.. Jay Carney, who actually makes me laugh harder than the comic genius Art Carney, said “he now believes it was a mistake..” (White House: Obama Vote Against Raising Debt Limit a ‘Mistake’ Fox News 04/11/2011) Carney was referring to the “acrimonious” Obama vote of 2006 AGAINST raising the debt ceiling.. Isn’t it just a stunning coincidence that rookie Senators like Obama seem to make “mistakes” with the same frequency as ROOKIE presidents like Obama..
“He (Carney) said Obama understands that Senators want to make it clear when they disagree with the administration but that there are other ways to go about doing it..” Now, go back and reread the Rodham quote.. What is good for the goose stepper, is also good for the gander.. It was perfectly acceptable for Obama to “make it clear when he disagrees with the administration” when he was a socialist senator, all bets are off now that he is the Democratic dictator.. Back in 2006, the rabbit clouts and the Bolshevik low blows were the leitmotiv, now that Obama wears the collectivist crown we must return post haste to the Marquis of Queensberry rules..
Now the progressive penny has dropped and Obama is all about “deficit reduction plans”. Obama should understand how to reduce the deficit since he is the one responsible for building these “historic” deficits..
According to Carney, Obama “will very clearly lay out his vision for deficit reduction.. The need for it to address the long-term drivers of our debt and for everyone to share in the burden of bringing our fiscal house in order..” What a Marxist mouthful..
First, Obama has never, nor will he ever, do ANYTHING “clearly”. Secondly, these “drivers” are Democratic “drivers” who drive as well as the Democratic dog paddler, Dead Ted.. Finally, who is surprised that now we ALL have to “share in the burden of bringing our fiscal house in order..” These are the liberals talking, so this “all” isn’t going to include any of the pet progressive projects and any of the liberal urchins, employed and unemployed, who rely on the government for their sustenance..
How can I say such a thing? Where is the proof that liberal “special interests” will be as immune from these “burdens” as the liberal “special interests” are immune (exempt) from the penalties (burdens) that everyone else will be paying relative to Obama Health Scare? “Obama took a moment to speak with a group of Colorado students touring the White House. He told the tour group that education will stay a priority for him in budget talks going forward..” Remember, “it’s all about the kids” but actually it’s all about the NEA and the fact that their pockets are always full of Democratic redistributed dollars.. I thought that EVERYONE was to “share in the burden of bringing our fiscal house in order..”
Carney, a colorful collectivist, “urged Republicans not to hold the debt limit vote ‘hostage’ in order to extract budgetary concessions..” “Hostage”.. Eeewww.. There is nothing short of taking hostages that would convince the liberals to STOP SPENDING, least of all the idea of “extracting budgetary concessions”.. It’s time to cut up the collectivist credit cards but there will be a Democratic scratch fight if anyone tries to take them away.. Besides, if someone took hostages while another Democrat was in the Slight House, they wouldn’t be released until the day the next Republican was taking the oath of office..
David Plouffe drew the short straw and he had to make the rounds on Sunday trying to waltz on the head of a progressive pin.. He “indicated that the White House is willing to put some reforms on the table..” Again, this is a liberal talking so understanding and listening to EVERY word is important.. “Reforms”.. You will note that he did NOT say “reductions’. He did NOT say “spending cuts”. He did NOT say “deficit reduction”. When the liberals start talking about things like “reforms” what they MEAN is the idea of “reforming” what the “rich” have to pay.. Their NEXT “reform” is to “reform” the “rich” into the “middle class” just like Clinton did with his ever changing “rich” that started at “$250,000 and ended up at $40,000..
Here are just a few more numbers in relation to the damage that Obama and the liberal Democrats have done. The “public debt” portion of the “historic” Obama deficit is increasing at the rate of $125 billion EVERY MONTH. The “projected fiscal 2011 deficit” (we all know that with Obama, he can top these estimated numbers with ease..) was $1.6 trillion. The “deal” last week managed to cut $38.5 billion. That is less than one week of Obama deficit spending.. One down, fifty-one more to go..
“Turbo” Timmy Geithner took out his collectivist Crayons and he scribbled a letter to the “Scary Socialist Skeleton” Harry Reid in which he said that “it would take an impossible amount of budgetary rearranging to halt that climb in the near-term..” The liberals have always been afraid of hard work, especially when it is the result of the liberal’s own political irresponsibility.. Since the “budgetary rearranging” appears “impossible”, the liberal answer is for Obama to keep spending more of what we know we don’t have any more of. The liberal answer is to keep borrowing until no one else on the planet will loan you any more and when you hit that wall, just start printing more..
Collectivist Carney did what all liberals do when someone wants to take away their Marxist marbles. They claim that if you do so, “catastrophe” will soon follow.. “Failure to lift the cap would be ‘Armageddon-like’ for the economy..” Carney isn’t alone in making these dire predictions. “Turbo” Tim Geithner in his letter to Reid said that not upping the Obama debt ceiling “risks a fiscal calamity potentially worse than the one from which the nation is recovering..” There is more, “the White House warns that voting against the debt ceiling increase would be ‘catastrophic’”.. Chuckie (Tumor) Schumer added, “it could be a formula for recession or worse.. So this is playing with fire..”
No kids, the “formula for recession” was brought to a boil when Obama was elected in 2008. Just to be “historic”, Obama decided to jet past the whole “recession” business and he went “kamikaze” right into his own Depression.. Allowing Obama to spend and spend and spend and spend is “playing with fire”.. The again, it’s not actually “playing with fire”, its trying to put out the fire that Obama has started by giving Obama more gasoline.. What could possibly go wrong there?
