As we watch in total horror and amazement at the corrupt and illegal antics of all those politicians and bureaucrats in Washington today, I cannot dismiss the quite appropriate and accurate description given by the young Forrest Gump, “Stupid is as stupid does!”
He could very easily have been talking about the repeated attempts by the Fed and the Federal Government’s Treasury Department to stem the tidal wave of debt that has been amassing near our shores and is now threatening to bury us all with a mountainous load of crushing debt.
Our financial freedom is at stake here!
When this bogus bailout plan goes forward and the fat-cat Wall Street bankers get their grubby hands on our tax dollars, then we will be assured that financial slavery has been accomplished.
Some will say that this financial slavery is warranted. In some instances, yes it is. In most cases, I would have to disagree. As a society, there are minor percentages of those who have the greater role in the transgression of greed and avarice. Yet, their experiences and roles have provided a significant and transformative catalyst, subjecting our society to the repercussions normally deemed for the offenders. As the old adage goes, “Misery loves company.”
Because of their great sins, we will all be punished with economic and financial slavery.
As one good turn deserves another, so that justice may be applied and enforced, equally appropriate punishments must be metered out to all.
Since our federal government has deemed it fitting to punish an entire nation for the transgression of some politicians’ friends and actually seeks an appropriate vehicle to deliver that punishment, we the citizens are faced with some extremely important decisions that will have great import in our lives.
Before we get to those particular decisions, let us discuss further the conditions and circumstances that face us.
In the recent past, we have seen our government’s failed repeated attempts, from the Bear Stearns debacle all the way up to and including Washington Mutual’s demise, to stop the crisis from enlarging disproportionately. Out of desperation, this ill equipped and incapable administration has chosen sides in this crisis. The government has opted to side with those criminal bankers who should all be jailed for the scams that they pawned off on investors. They have subsequently delivered a deadly and toxic financial bomb onto the innocent citizens of this country.
The federal government has decided to go to war with America.
How shall we fight back? How shall we defend ourselves? There seems to be little that can be done to protect our lives, our possessions, our freedoms these days. Continual attacks against the citizenry have weakened and demoralized them to the point of surrender.
With abundant appeasements to the ill-informed citizenry, by politicking politicians, to purchase votes and to gain favor, we the citizenry are losing the war. Each time another citizens votes for some particular politician, just so they may be reimbursed with an entitlement, we lose another battle.
The citizenry has been weakened by decades upon decades of these political tactics to the point that most expect to be reimbursed for their votes in some fashion or another. Too often I hear snippets of conversations like, “I want to have more Medicare, so I am voting for so-and-so” or “He promises to get me universal healthcare that I won’t have to pay for myself” and many other equally absurd statements. Have our transgressions taken us so far afield that we have lost our sense of reasoning and our sense of freedom that we will give up our most precious attribute for the sake of a political slight of hand?
Getting back to the punishment presently being considered for the American people, by our duly elected representatives, senators and president, one must consider what such an attack upon the citizenry will cause.
Have you considered the massive monetary proportions that they are considering? As in any governmental program, one must utilize the government BS factor when calculating anything. For instance, when they tell you that it will only be 700 billions of your tax dollars that they are planning on stealing to pay off their friends, this can usually be factored by a number which will reflect a more accurate sum….. like 7x the proposed value. Even though this value has been increasing over the years, the government BS factor can get you more accurate data than what you are being fed by the media and government.
The government has already spent over $1 trillion attempting to quell the financial jitters just this year alone. Little publicized events of repeated attempts to inject liquidity, insuring failed bank deposits or rescuing troubled investment banks have been chronicled, all the while the government expects each and every one to forget what happened yesterday.
We all know that this $700 billion is not nearly enough to cover the debt created by the criminal behavior of Wall Street investment banks. Many are speculating that it will exceed half of our GDP for the year.
Can you afford to give half of everything your own so that a few criminals can walk free? Are you willing to have your hard earned possessions stolen from you, so that political alliances with wealthy criminals can be maintained?
I say NO! What say you?
More and more lately, I have encountered articles discussing the necessity of civil war by many on the web. I have no doubt that as the citizenry is abused more and more, the sentiment towards retribution becomes greater. Each time that another freedom is lost, tempers flare and angry citizens consider more drastic measures.
We are living in tempestuous times where it is expected that flare-ups will occur. For these reasons, our government has decided to train highly Special Forces to contend with violent and riotous citizens inside the United States of America.
Yes! As martial law is being declared for natural disasters and enforced by FEMA security personnel, it is of little doubt that this government will not utilize the full force of the military to take down any uprising that may lead to civil war within our country.
But, there is one Achilles’ heel that is not being considered as yet by the citizenry, the one and only chink in the armor that can bring this nation to its knees. It is there for all to see and the government does its best to conceal it, even though it cannot.
Just as the conditions that lead up to the attempts to bail out Wall Street, the government found that money and credit were disappearing. The expected flow of money that courses throughout this society is what keeps this government (federal, state and local) afloat. Without it, there is nothing.
And YOU, Mr. and Mrs. Citizen, you have the power to bring this government to its knees. You have the power to stop this government in its tracks.
Remember that the government will not hesitate to do what it has to do to punish you for the transgressions of others and to keep you downtrodden, scrapping for each dollar that you can toil and labor for. Also remember that the government will utilize all resources in its grasp to keep the power that it has stolen over the decades.
All you have to do is NOTHING. That’s right….. NOTHING!
It is expected that when the massive efforts to bail out Wall Street and to fortify all banks that come under seizure by the FDIC fails, then the economy will eventually crash. We are expected to have another long and crippling financial depression. Washington cannot avoid that and they know it.
Long ago, predictions were made by those who were observant enough to understand what these conditions lead to. We are helplessly witnessing the errors of government, but often find that we can do nothing to influence the steps that government takes.
Now, you can!
We will enter into the next great depression and many of you will be out of work. Many of you will be out of your homes, unable to pay the mortgage bills and the bankers will turn you out onto the street in order to recoup their losses attributed to you. They can do this because they have the law on their side. Even though the government is forcing us to bail out the criminal bankers when they get caught with massive debts, don’t look for similar circumstances during the depression.
As your unpaid bills mount up, you will undoubtedly find yourself as your grandparents once did during their time in the depression.
It may be all that you can do to scrape by and put meager rations on the table for yourself and your family, but understand this. As long as we continue to deal in dollar currency, we continue to give to the government.
If America were to choose to stay at home for just one month or perhaps two, this government will die a miserable death. Once the money stream dries up, there is nothing that the government can do. It will thrash about in its throws of death, threatening all citizens of their lack of patriotism. It will not hesitate to utilize the police state and military state tactics to get everyone moving again.
But, remember that your future is in your hands and all that you have to do is to sit on them.
If everyone were just to stay at home, not go to work, refuse to pay for services, refuse to go shopping, then this economy would come to a screeching halt immediately. If no goods were to be transported, the government would be raising the white flag within two to three weeks.
Yes, I have heard it all before, that there is no way that anyone can get the majority of citizens to agree upon one particular issue, even to simply determine the color of the sky. It would certainly take something of major proportions to pull enough of the people together. On Sept 12th, there was consensus. There will be another significant event that will pull the citizenry together again. It could very well be this next depression.
It is also expected that there will be many stumbling blocks to the majority banding together to gain any particular objective. One of those blocks is the necessity to eat. In most given households, there is usually about three to four days of food. After those few days, the people will not willingly subject themselves and their families to starvation. Advantage ---- government! The citizenry would be clambering to get back to work after only a few days. The government fully expects this and is not worried too terribly much about citizenry revolt.
That expectation, in and of itself, does not ensure absolute protection for the government, isolating it from citizenry revolt. But, let me ask this, “What if!”
What if this bailout plan does fail, like all previous efforts by the Fed and our government?
What if we do end up in a major depression and the majority of us are thrown out on the street? What if we end of jobless and penniless and starving because we cannot afford to go to the grocery store? What if we find our worse fears have come to fruition?
One way or another, these things will come to pass, eventually. I place little hope in the ability of government to solve this crisis without greater repercussions to reverberate throughout our lives.
So, you have a choice to make. Do you soon make a stand and battle the forces that will attempt to make you poor, homeless, hungry, enslaved and unhappy? Or, do you allow those forces to ultimately make you poor, homeless, hungry, enslaved and unhappy?
